Lenin was no more. The Great Russian Empire was preserved, once the communist upstart was crushed and hung for treason. Even though the Communist threat was over, Russia still faced incredble politcal chaos. With the collapse of the Romanov monarchy, the Old Empire's survival was in flux. That is, until one of the leaders of the Russian White Army, which crushed the Reds, Baron Pyotr Alexeivich Wrangel, placed Grand Duke Mikail Gregorovitch on the throne. He, along with Wrangel and the surviving Romanov loyals, created a new system of government, minicking that of the British Empire, in which the Czar became more of a figurehead than an actual ruler, and the Russian Dumas held all the politcal power. The system was implemented, and it worked. 20th century Russia became a supreme global power, rivalling that of the U.S., with a colossal Army, one of the world's strongest Navies and the largest Air Force in the world. Russia had more than 500 bases around the world, and had an Empire the size of North America, Art, culture, sports and music in Russia became just as monumental as American culture, and vast farms, cities, industrial centers and universities were built to accommodate the 317 million citizens.
